Michael Luna PT, DPT
Temple Physical Therapy Clinical Supervisor
Michael is the supervisor of the East Haven office for Temple Physical Therapy. Michael received his doctorate in physical therapy from Quinnipiac University in 2009.
At the start of his career, Michael was a Certified Fitness Trainer for several years. He worked as a personal trainer for Bally Total Fitness and the Jewish Community Center, where he helped clients reach their exercise goals.
In addition, he volunteers as a coach for youth baseball leagues. He has volunteered for other programs as well such as the Niche Osteoporosis Awareness program, to spread prevention tips for osteoporosis; the Connecticut Special Olympics, to assist people with disabilities in athletic situations; and CampCare, to rehabilitate the pediatric population in a physical therapy setting.
Aside from working as a full time outpatient physical therapist, Michael also is a home care physical therapist. He rehabilitates patients who have disabling diagnoses and who need greater care within their home.
Michael is a diligent and hard-working physical therapist who puts patient care above all else. With his exercise and training background and experiences in many different types of physical therapy settings, he is a great addition to Temple Physical Therapy and the East Haven community.
